Currently I am Director for Solutions & Strategic Alliances at the Semantic Web Company (SWC). SWC is globally acknowledged as the leading and most innovative Linked Data technology provider. We are the company behind PoolParty Semantic Suite - the preferred semantic solution of Fortune 500 companies.
Before joining SWC I was Managing Director & COO of the Impact Hub Vienna, located in the beautiful 7th district at the heart of Vienna (Austria), where the Impact Hub hosts a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities that support the development of a more sustainable world.
Prior to joining the Impact Hub, I worked as a COO & Deputy Director General for the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership, an international multilateral partnership that works to accelerate market-based deployment of renewable energy and energy efficient systems in developing countries.
I obtained a Masters Degree in IT-Management and a Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology and co-authored the "Climate Knowledge Brokers" Manifesto which sets out seven key principles for how climate knowledge brokers can have greater impact through collaboration and the use of open data and is a call for joint action to meet the massive climate knowledge challenges ahead.
