Even though we have had to cancel our conferences in April and September 2020, we are now keen to broadcast a sign of activity and vitality to and from the sector. With the SEMANTiCS VIDEO FORUM, we are planning for a crisp evening assembling short snapshots on developments from the academic and industry of the recent month. To keep continuity for 2020 we are happy to welcome you - free of charge - to the SEMANTiCS VIDEO FORUM on September 9.
Semantics Conference and Community is active also in 2020. Besides the SEMANTICS VIDEO FORUM on September 9th DBpedia, PLDN and EuroSDR will organize a SEMANTiCS satellite event online, on October 6, 2020. Corresponding to the SEMANTiCS event motto, we set up an exciting themed program around ‘Knowledge Graphs in Action: DBpedia, Linked Geodata and Geo-information Integration’.

The SEMANTiCS organizing committee decided to keeps the Scientific Tracks open (including the special tracks) for 2020 but cancel the Poster & Demo Track, the Workshop & Tutorial Track as well as the Industry Track.
We chose Karlsruhe for the 15th edition of the SEMANTiCS conference series. A place we know as Germany's hotspot for technology. An indeed it was a great event having an on-the-edge topic on our agenda: Knowledge Graphs and AI.
