Accelerating lead times and inventory with Knowledge Graphs at Nokia and RFS

Based on case studies with telecommunication manufacturers and innovators RFS and Nokia, this presentation will show how a knowledge graph based technology supports enterprises to establish transparency for their product and process data without the need of inflexible and expensive master data management or data migration projects. It also shows how sales and product distribution processes get simplified and accelerated, leading to a significant reduction of lead times while increasing inventory turnover.

The presentation will explain the general project framework such a knowledge graph implementation works best with, and outline the steps a company needs to take to establish data transparency and agility in just under a year. It will also showcase results from both case studies. The audience will hear how RFS harmonized product data from 8 plants on 5 continents achieving a return on investment of 200 % within the first 6 months while reducing data preparation by 50%. The case study with Nokia will show, how the leading telecommunication company was able to reduce lead times within their B2B software delivery sector from weeks to minutes.
